Chirality-Induced Spin Coherence in Electron Transfer Reactions

چکیده

Recently there has been much interest in the chirality induced spin selectivity effect, whereby electron polarisation, which is dependent on molecular chirality, produced electrode-molecule transfer processes. Naturally, one might consider if a similar effect can be observed simple charge reactions, for example light-induced from an donor to acceptor. In this work we explore of spins chiral single radicals and radical pairs using Nakajima-Zwanzig theory. these cases conjuction with spin-orbit coupling, does not lead but instead generates quantum coherence between states. principle, could manifest range experiments, particular demonstrate that OOP-ESEEM pulse EPR experiment would able detect oriented pairs.
